I had a request to update the blog, (a first) so here's some old news. As you know we got season tickets to the Lufkin Panther football games. Here are some pictures from the first home game.

About three years ago, during Hurrican Rita, we had no power and we were huddled in our living room listening to the radio. The only thing anyone could think of saying was, "Hunker down!" Well, we're getting ready for the arrival of Hurricane Ike. And I can honestly say, "I don't like Ike." So it seems that we will need to be ready to "Hunker down" for tonight and tomorrow. I hope and pray that all our family and friends our safe. I pray that God will be with everyone who is affected by this storm. We know that He is the only one who can speak to the winds and the waves and they will obey.
